Mini Super Space COLOR This is a Space Game Mactivity's CD-ROM nr 10 advice: This application did run on a color 68030 processor under System 7.1, but the behaviour on a ColorScreen of a PowerMacintosh running System 7.1.2 was not satisfying. Our advice: use only on 68030 processors, or try with caution on a 68040 processor Attention: needs a COLOR monitor. You can navigate in my flight simulator for minisuperspace. Minisuperspace is where the geometry of the present moment is the dynamical object. Much as the x coordinate on a spring can be seen to oscillate, so also Laflamme at Cambridge's studied minisuperspace oscillates its homogeneous scalar matter field and you can fly around and investigate it. Of course, its more illuminating and less than just a toy, if you can interpret the theory of it. I've found it difficult, even with the assist of Theorist software and ten years of research. So, I made a program the novice can enjoy, because I have led an unusual life that few could understand. This ought to make it exciting to the general public. First, I give one paragraph that even I don't understand. I write it because I believe Roger Penrose sort of does understand and I believe that you can understand it as well as I do if you read the Emperor's New Mind and Zeh's"The Physical Basis for the Direction of Time." The latter is tough stuff and should be read while skiing for three weeks. So here's my tough paragraph and then on to the good stuff. An anisotropic cosmology can have a nonzero Weyl curviture tensor. That is what Roger Penrose says is intimately associated with the arrow of time. The Kantowsky Sach's Cosmology is anisotropic in contrast to the currently popular FRW cosmology. The present moment in the KS cosmology looks like a hypertorus while that of the FRW a hypersphere. You can sort of guess that is why KS is anisotropic rather than isotropic like FRW. When in the program you will see navigation controls for minisuperspace. You can turn around your viewpoint and even go for binocular vision. Play with the mini-universe's initial conditions and see how it comes out, what it does. Don't worry, instructions are included.
